Gifts in a Cup...(and 2 Free Printables!)

I don't know if you're anything like me when it comes to Christmas gifts...
but I love cute and cheap thrifty things for all those extra names on my list.

I love all of our friends and I appreciate the heck out of little man's teachers...but let's face it, we're poor college kids.
But the nice thing about being crafty is that you can make cheap gifts that are way cute :)
And those are the best kind of gifts, am I right?

I actually put these cute cups together last year but I thought I'd show you them to give you some cheap, easy ideas for some fun gifts!!
I have two different versions so check 'em out!!!

My first two sets were some awesome mugs I picked up at Big Lots for under 3$ a piece.
You can also get some cute ones at the Dollar Store...I was just in love with these colors and shapes!!

It's as easy as cutting out the vinyl in the letters you want, sticking them on and slathering Mod Podge onto them to help them weather well :)

I wouldn't recommend sticking them in a dishwasher...but if you use the outdoor Mod Podge then running water over them is totally fine.

I made this set for some friends that had just gotten married!
I always loved seeing Mr. and Mrs. on things after I got married...well...I still do :)
Wouldn't they be cute soup bowls??

All I did to package them up was add some yummy coffee to them and I stacked the mugs one on top of the other.

Then I tied them up in clear cellophane (love this stuff) and dressed them up with ribbons and sparkly monograms.
My favorite thing about using this clear packaging is the ability to be super creative with the trimmings on it.
I love using bright colors to tie it all up!

I added their initials in sparkly chipboard letters I had on hand...
love the bling!

The second set of cups were for teacher gifts for little man's daycare.
He had three teachers and I just so happened upon three cute cups at Walmart in their clearance center.
I wrapped some spice drops up in the clear cellophane, tied it up with a ribbon and plopped them in there!

Of course, I had to add a cute tag so I took these awesome library cards I had on hand.
(I think I got them from Mardel, but any place that sells school products for teachers will have them)
I dressed up the outsides with a fun tag I made and a cute little flower rosette.

And I printed directly onto the cards, saying 'thank you for making R's school year sweet!'
I inked the edges in red and stapled a scrap of ribbon to the tops.
Easy peasy.

Then I just tied the cards around the cups.

And just because I love you guys so much I thought I'd share the tags I used...

WELL, confession...
I made these tags last year and I guess I misplaced them?
No idea how that happened but I don't have the file anymore.
So I whipped up a version similar to them for you guys.

I also thought you might like a quicker way to get a hold of a cute library card....
rather than have to run to a school supply store.
I use these on all kinds of things and they definitely come in handy for gift tags...
so I made an easy version for you to print out and use for yourself :)

See how much I love you guys??

As with all my free printables,
these are for personal use ONLY.
Please do not claim them as your own or alter them.

I hope these ideas gave you a jumping-off point for some quick and easy gifts.
I'd love to see any cup gifts that you put together so be sure to send pics to me if you make some!!

Enjoy your prints...I hope they come in handy!!!!

Happy Wednesday :)
